gomenesai, been a while again (oops, i'm not japanese).

headed down to the new house on thursday to trim the lawn (it's pretty sad how bad the grass is, but all of our neighbors spent a few thousand on theirs, which i think i'll hold off on) and leave rob a note regarding a few things, like me getting the job, him moving all of his stuff out of the fourth bedroom, not taking up both sinks, etc. chris has apparently lost his job also, so now the only people paying are rob and i, which has just been incredibly frustrating, and made no less easy by the fact that utility costs have skyrocketed since he's moved in (even with the rather hot summer)..

dawdled around in fredericksburg for a while because mother didn't want me going to charlottesville; picked up some food at the restaurant but got into town late, so we just stayed up and chatted for a good while. spent the afternoon with MA as she ran some errands; ran into tony and kara at target, then headed to kroger (where i picked up some 50¢ lifewater and sobe), and old navy. came back and doodled in the sketchbook with her before passing out on the couch. kato thought we were faking, hahah..but then it was off to the gym for a leg workout (yes, they're still sore), before coming back and doing nothing before we headed over to MA's to do the ram; wound up having weird errors with all 4gbs in, so we stuck with 1x2gb stick, while deciding where we wanted to go for dinner..finally settling on going to wild wing café..until we got to the parking lot and saw the $3 cover charge, and went out to buffalo wild wings instead (+jessica), which was pretty good. played trivia while we waited/ate, which we started off doing really well at, before failing on all these music questions that younger folk like us wouldn't've known..

took three soco shots and headed off to zbt..still had to whip out my id because the brothers at the door didn't recognize me, and i didn't want to bother with the "your president, dlu, is my cousin" story (even though it's the truth). david and jacqueline make an appearance shortly, and we go hang out for a bit in his old room (now zach's). ran into katie right as i was about to leave; we go back into the room and wind up watching heppe play someone in ssb (the original n64 version, no less). she tells me about the $3 cover charge and getting it validated by the waitress (or how to just validate it ourselves), which i keep in mind for the next time..wound up talking for another two hours before bringing her back to the psp house. sunday's the usual 11:30AM mass, and finally going to grab five guys and coming back to watch the international, which kato thought was duplicity, and didn't want to watch it for that reason. wasn't a huge fan of the ending, as it was rather anticlimactic, but it was good enough overall—and i got to watch them shoot up the inside of the nyc guggenheim (well, an exact replica of it, anyway), which was pretty cool..
